The Junior Bike Park in Ponte di Legno is an area equipped with obstacles, bumps, and descents, served by a convenient conveyor belt for the ascent. The different routes, with varying levels of difficulty, allow young riders to improve their MTB technique in complete safety, guided step by step by Certified Instructors. The Baby Track for younger children is a safe course designed exclusively for balance bikes. Inside the park, there is also a rental service where you can hire bikes and book private lessons in the park, as well as bike tours for adults and kids.
Kids Bike Park at the Tonale Pass
The Kids Bike Park at the Tonale Pass is an area dedicated to independent MTB learning, where children and beginners can learn to ride bikes or improve their skills on off‑road terrain. The three routes, with progressively increasing levels of difficulty, allow riders to gradually gain greater confidence and control of the bike. It is an area designed for having fun, practicing, and preparing to tackle the bike park trails later on.
The Pump Track
Near the Kids Bike Park at the Tonale Pass there is also an asphalt Pump Track, ideal for learning how to tackle bumps and jumps and improving riding skills. Here you can practice pushing the bike to gain speed: the goal is to complete the entire track without pedalling, using only body movements to control the bike and keep it moving.
Cycle Paths between Ponte di Legno and the Tonale Pass
The Pontedilegno‑Tonale bike area is crossed by countless on and off‑road routes, including two long cycle paths that allow you to explore the territory between Lombardy and Trentino. Together with the Oglio Cycle Path, they provide over 300 km of itineraries that run through Val di Sole and Val Camonica, winding through forests, meadows, and lush mountain landscapes.
The Tonale Pass – Edolo Cycle Path
The 29-km-long Tonale Pass – Edolo cycle path is ideal for families with children. The fully paved, traffic‑free route crosses Upper Val Camonica, winding through natural landscapes, small mountain villages, and crossing charming stone and wooden bridges over the River Oglio. It is the first section of the Oglio Cycle Path, an itinerary of over 280 km that follows the river all the way to its confluence with the River Po, passing by Lake Iseo and crossing the provinces of Brescia, Bergamo, Cremona, and Mantua. The cycle path is also equipped with charging points for e‑bikes. Warning: the section from Ponte di Legno to the Tonale Pass has an average gradient of 20%.
The Val di Sole Cycle Path
The 35-km-long Val di Sole cycle path, with over 700 metres of elevation gain, follows the River Noce and allows you to move from the green landscapes of the valley floor to extraordinary views in the high mountains. The Lower Val di Sole section has gentle gradients, while from Vermiglio it is possible to reach the Tonale Pass on an off‑road trail. The route is also served by the Dolomiti Express, with the Train + Bike formula from Mostizzolo to Mezzana, and the Bike Bus up to the Tonale Pass, making it easier to organise your excursion.
E-Bikes: turning difficulty into ease
Thanks to e‑bikes' electric motors even less‑trained riders no longer have limits and can explore distant places, riding along roads that would otherwise be inaccessible.
Whether city bikes, MTBs, road bikes, or enduro models, e‑bikes allow you to tackle any type of terrain, the steepest climbs, and the roughest descents, greatly expanding the possibilities of your ride. In Pontedilegno‑Tonale there is also a Zeus charging network, with 12 stations installed in strategic locations. These stations allow you to recharge your e‑bike and other electronic devices for free. The ones in Vermiglio and at the departure point of the Ponte di Legno cable car are also equipped with a Tool Station, with a maintenance kit and small repair tools for all cyclists.
