The Pontedilegno-Tonale Consortium

Impianti Oraribiglietteria

Since 1977, the Pontedilegno-Tonale Consortium has been coordinating and promoting the tourist, economic and social development of the area, bringing together organisations from the public and private sectors in Lombardy and Trentino. Municipalities, lift operators, ski schools, hotelier associations and operators collaborate to create a destination that is capable of growing in a balanced manner and offer quality experiences all year round. The work of the Consortium extends beyond tourist promotion: it involves bolstering the local identity, providing support to enterprises, innovating services and infrastructure, making the most of natural and cultural resources and generating shared benefits for the community, while also focused on future generations.

The Pontedilegno-Tonale Consortium has been working since 1977 to celebrate and promote the area as a leading tourist destination in the Alpine range, coordinating the various local organisations and fostering collaboration between administrations, businesses, associations and local communities. The goal is to bolster the identity and the appeal of Pontedilegno-Tonale, support the growth of enterprises and generate widespread benefits, while at the same time protecting natural, landscape, cultural and sport resources. A vision that looks to the future with a sense of responsibility, innovation and collaboration, to construct a balanced and lasting model for development, capable of creating shared value for all those who live and work in this area and those who choose to visit.

An ever-developing story

Pontedilegno-Tonale was oriented towards tourism long before the Consortium was founded. From the arrival of the first mountaineers in the nineteenth century to the emergence of skiing, from the reconstruction in the wake of the Great War to the creation of an increasingly integrated system: every stage has added a new chapter to the history of the destination.

Reporting on our commitment

Looking to the future also means examining the path already travelled and accepting responsibility for our choices. For the Pontedilegno-Tonale Consortium, sustainability reporting represents an opportunity to formally underscore our commitment to a model of development founded on coherence in our actions and on collective responsibility. In a context characterised by increasingly significant environmental, social and economic challenges, the sustainability report paints a picture of a process founded on exchange and participation, with the aim of helping local communities to prosper, contributing to the quality of hospitality and the building of a visionary future for the territory.
