IT’S ONLY FROZEN WATER - SURF MUSIC NIGHT

Let’s imagine the water that flows down from Presena Glacier, spills into rivers, into valleys and then goes on until it encounters, at the end of its long journey, the sea.

The sea itself will be the protagonist of this concert of the ParadIce Band playing surf music, the one that brings us back to the waves, beaches and sun.

Surf’s up!

Saturday 16th March – at 4.00 p.m.

90's GRUNGE MUSIC

A new genre arose in Seattle in the 1990s, which was destined to make history.

This is the last real cultural and musical movement, before the arrival of computers and auto-tune.

Nirvana and Alice in Chains are just some of the bands of that time. The ParadIce Band will bring you back in those years, when flannel shirts and combat boots prevailed.

Let’s rock!

Saturday 23rd March – at 4.00 p.m. and at 6.00 p.m.

IRISH FOLK. SPECIAL GUESTS “MYSTIC OWLS”

Sláinte!

When music meets poetry. Italy has made history in this, with some of the greatest authors.

De Andrè, De Gregori, Battiato… The ParadIce Band will lead you in a musical journey where music is important, but so are the words.

The Special Guests

On specific dates we are going to have some Special Guests, who have accepted to challenge themselves playing the instruments made of ice and for the first time they will perform inside the Paradice Dome.

We thank them for accepting our invitation, aware that for every artist – for whom the voice and hands are the most important instrument – the cold is always a challenge.

Here they are:

Saturday 27th January – at 4.00 and at 6.00 p.m.

FILIPPO GRAZIANI (TRIBUTE TO IVAN GRAZIANI)

VALENTINE’S DAY CONCERT

The internationally acclaimed trio Noemie Schellens (opera singer and actress), Kobe Baeyens (baritone) and Maarten Vandenbemden (guitarist) will prove that opera can be hip and hot! They will make sure you will leave the ice theatre dazzled. It’s all about emotions… It’s Valentine's day after all 😊

Saturday 17th February – at 4.00 p.m. and at 6.00 p.m.

MORGAN

Marco Castoldi also known as Morgan is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist musician, writer, composer, music divulger and talent scout.

Eclectic and versatile artist, his production embraces many music settings: songs, movies and theatrical soundtracks, direction of an opera. Moreover, his work grants space to research, from classical music to voice synthesis.

Faithful to his standard, Morgan follows his inspiration of the moment during a concert, free to improvise monologues, without a precise schedule. In his hands music is substance to shape, model, build, modify at any time.

Saturday 9th March – at 4.00 p.m. and at 6.00 p.m.

FABRIZIO DE ANDRE ENSEMBLE

Nine artists coming from different places and with different music influences meet on the stage. From South Tyrol to Veneto, from Friuli-Venezia Giulia to Calabria, from Sardinia to Peru, with instruments of absolute importance: guitar, bass, violin, percussions. All of this has the ambition to retrace in a refined way every evolutionary stage in the artistic career of this Genoese singer-songwriter. At the same time, it can release a musicality that is in line with the most appreciated instrumental evolutions, which Fabrizio de Andrè himself has perfected over the years, and that entails an encounter of genres and styles with a strong emotional impact.

Thursday concerts

THE PARADICE ORCHESTRA

The Paradice Orchestra plays every Thursday and dedicates each concert to a great pop-rock artist, testing both modern and classic arrangements in order to combine pop, classical and contemporary music.

The Orchestra is born from the union between Los Locos Armando’s, well-established local rock band, with the pianist Massimo Faes and the eclectic Phenix, all female string trio. The result is a music that can be collocated between sacred and profane and between rock and classical music.

The Paradice Orchestra is formed by:

Nick Turri – Drums
Emanuele Ghirardini – Guitar
Roberto Marzucchi – Bass
Massimo Faes – Keyboard
Ilaria Giorgi – Cello
Maria Pizio – Viola
Lucy Manfredi – Violin

BEATLES, THE WHITE CONCERT

The extraordinary history of the Fab 4 starts at the end of the 1950s, exactly in the rock and roll era, but it is from the mid-1960s onwards that the Beatles create the basis of all contemporary music exploring different sounds and genres. A timeless and boundless music.

The Paradice Orchestra will tell you all of this during the live concert that will inaugurate with a bang the 2024 edition of ParadIce Music Festival.

Thursday 25th January – at 4.00 p.m.

STARMAN - BOWIE NIGHT

The real history of the man coming from the space. A forerunner in everything: without Bowie there would not be half of the music we listen to today.

Pop music becomes at the same time classical, rock, glam. Great harmonies and orchestrations merge in songs that have made history.

Thursday 1st February – at 4.00 p.m.

MOVIES SOUNDTRACKS - QUENTIN TARANTINO

Movies soundtracks are often the winning feature of box-office movies. The one that could make this an art is for sure Quentin Tarantino. Passionate about music in general, Tarantino managed to discover real gems and make them eternal thanks to their combination with memorable scenes of his movies.

It will be a very Pulp evening.

Thursday 8th February – at 4.00 p.m.

THE ICED SIDE OF THE MOON - PINK FLOYD TRIBUTE

Thursday 29th February – at 4.00 p.m.

RINO GAETANO TRIBUTE

Inconvenient, shy and distant from masses, Rino Gaetano has never been afraid of expressing his thoughts. His songs are unique in the Italian music scene. Texts and music are pure images that are impossible to classify. The ParadIce Orchestra will try to do it in a concert tribute to one of the greatest exponents of Italian music, often unfairly underestimated.

Thursday 7th March – at 4.00 p.m.

ROLLING STONES TRIBUTE

Rock dinosaurs, the most enduring band in the world.

IL GEGHEGÉ - ITALIAN 60s BEAT

The Italian beat of Piper, Capannina, twist… Italy of the 1960s discovers rock and roll.
