ELLY FANCHINI DAY IS BACK

The second edition of the event dedicated to the memory of Elena Fanchini will take place in March, Sunday 30th on the slopes of Pontedilegno – Tonale. Elena Fanchini was an Italian skier who died prematurely on 8 February 2023 due to cancer.

The event is organized by her sisters Nadia and Sabrina, together with the DH LIONS group and consists of a non-competitive giant slalom race. Participants will be able to live side by side with the World Cup athletes of today and yesterday, while supporters will enjoy the magical atmosphere of the "parterre" with music, autographs, photos and lots of fun. The proceeds from the registration fees (€25 for the RACE package and €12 for the SUPPORTER package) and the lottery will be donated to AIRC.

On the day of the race, from the early afternoon, the auction for the memorabilia of the World Cup athletes will start on the online platform Charity Stars, with some unique pieces arriving directly from the World Championships in Saalbach.
