Mountain Hut Mandrone

Go there in spring (with mountaineering skis and a good pair of sunglasses) to discover what white is. And then come back in the summer to see the impressive quantity of water that flows down the valley. The Rifugio Mandron Città di Trento (so called because it was wanted in the 1950s by the Trentino residents) is the antechamber to the kingdom of ice. Not only for the close-up view of the Mandron glacier, but also for the presence, not far away, of the ice study center that SAT wanted to dedicate to Julius Payer, with a permanent exhibition on glaciology. Our strong point will be the reinforced breakfast, to allow hikers and mountaineers the energy necessary for their destinations.
