KIDS BIKE PARKS AND CYCLING PATHS AT PONTEDILEGNO-TONALE: THE BIKE WORLD IS SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE
With two kids bike parks and long, panoramic cycle paths, the Pontedilegno-Tonale bike area is truly suitable for everyone. On this page we present our most accessible proposals, those dedicated to children and, more generally, to beginners. Proposals to learn and improve biking skills both on asphalt and dirt terrain. Kids Bike Park: the pleasure of learning
The Kids Bike Parks in Pontedilegno-Tonale have routes specifically designed for little ones and beginners. Here they can learn to take their first steps on two wheels or improve their biking and balance skills on dirt terrain, experimenting with the technical passages and preparatory structures in complete safety. These Bike Parks are the point of reference for starting downhill riding, all under the watchful and trained eye of MTB instructors.
Junior Bike Park at Ponte di Legno
Here you will find an area equipped with obstacles, bumps and descents served by a comfortable treadmill for the ascent. Numerous routes with different degrees of difficulty allow young bikers to refine their MTB technique in complete safety, followed closely by our Federal Instructors.
The Baby Track is dedicated to the little ones, a completely safe route to be used exclusively with balance bikes.
Inside the park there is a rental where you can rent bikes and where you can book private lessons inside the park and bike tours for adults and children.
T-MU BIKE Park AT TEMU'
The Temù Junior Bike Park is spread over two areas with three distinct routes. A route develops on the asphalt square and is made up of a carpeted track and wooden obstacles. The other two routes are located on the adjacent meadow, on a slightly inclined slope with parabolic turns, slight humps and basins; the dirt routes are served by a treadmill for the ascent.
Both areas can be approached for 4 years with balance bikes and, for the more skilled, with traditional pedal bicycles.
Next to the park there is a rental shop where you can rent balance bikes, jr bikes, muscle bikes and e-bikes and where you can book lessons private in the park and bike tours for adults and children with e-bikes. On site there is a bar, public toilets and convenient parking.
Cycle paths at Ponte di Legno and Tonale
The Pontedilegno-Tonale bike area is crossed by an infinite number of on-road and off-road routes. Among these, there are also two magnificent cycle paths which, in more than 300 km between Val di Sole and Valle Camonica with the Oglio cycle path, will take you to discover the entire area, immersed in the greenery of the Trentino and Lombardy valleys.
Cycle path Ponte di Legno-Edolo
The Ponte di Legno – Edolo cycle path is 22km long and with a modest difference in altitude, is ideal for families with children. The route, entirely asphalted and closed to traffic, winds through the upper Valle Camonica among splendid natural landscapes, small mountain villages and suggestive stone and wooden bridges for crossing the Oglio river. It is the first part of the Ciclovia dell’Oglio, an itinerary of over 280 km that follows the course of the Oglio river along the entire Valle Camonica till its confluence with the river Po, passing through Lake Iseo and crossing the provinces of Brescia, Bergamo, Cremona and Mantua. The Ponte di Legno – Edolo cycle path is fully equipped with charging points for e-bikes.
Cycle path Val di Sole
35 km long and more than 700 m of difference in altitude along the Noce stream: the Val di Sole cycle path allows you to admire the green panoramas of the valley as well as the mountain landscapes dominated by majestic peaks. The stretch of lower Val di Sole has modest gradients while from Vermiglio you can reach Passo Tonale on a dirt road. The route is also served by the Dolomiti Express with the Train + Bike formula from Mostizzolo to Mezzana and Bike Bus to Passo Tonale.
The e-bike makes everything easy
Thanks to the electric motor of e-Bikes, even less trained people have no limits and can explore distant places, traveling along otherwise inaccessible roads.
Front or full suspension, e-Bikes tackle any type of terrain, the most challenging climbs and the steepest descents, thus extending your itinerary.
The Pontedilegno-Tonale area is equipped with the Zeus charging network, made up of 12 charging stations at your service: suitable for charging your pedal-assisted bicycle, but also any other electronic device. Consisting of 4 boxes and 4 racks, the charging points are installed in strategic areas. The columns installed in Vermiglio and at the departure of the Ponte di Legno cable car are also equipped with a Tool Station, a maintenance and repair kit at your disposal.
